All these New Yorkers walking by as they travel to and from their offices are actually making me miss my work life.
Sure disconnectig from responsibilities and focusing on family has been a necessary and rewarding summer experience, but there's just something about what I do that's making me crave going back to it. Things will be business as usual on Friday, so we'll see if I still feel the same way then.
For now, I'm really going to put some effort into reading Anna Karenina. I'm about 200 pages in and it's really helping me slow down and appreciate the written word in all its glory.
Maybe I should have used a Corona instead?
Go Mets!!! May they kick some LA ass. :)
It's hard to make out from this video, but people and news crews are all along 7th and are preparing for the broadcast of the Michael Jackson memorial.
I'm just taking the Sightseeing bus to Madison Square Garden, where I'll meet up with the fam, but it's pretty interesting to be a spectator as this is unfolding.
Crowds and camera crews are starting to line up in anticipation. I just happened to be running an errand in the area & stumbled upon all the craziness.
I LOVE New York. Yes I can grab a delish vegan burger back in Diego, but there's just so much variety and healthy eating options that it's hard not to feel like I'm in food heaven.
It's freakin hot out here.
Oh & Yankee Stadium is beautiful, new, & very clean but it's NO Petco baby.
SD fans I feel like I betrayed you all with my NYY hat, but I was seriously worried about burning. :/
